HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Northwestern 3A-4A passing leaders for 2020 season

Carlton Horine, a junior,  was one of the top passers in the Northwestern 3A-4A last season for Watauga High. He averaged 19.5 yards per pass and 67.5 yards per game for the Pioneers with five touchdown passes. The top returning passer in the revised Northwestern 3A-4A will be Nick Everhart (99.4 yards per game), who did that for Hickory and will play at South Caldwell in 2021./WATAUGA DEMOCRAT PHOTO
