Randolph County represents North Carolina for third straight year

SHELBY – The American Legion baseball World Series opens Thursday in Shelby with Randolph County representing North Carolina for the third straight year.

All tournament games will be played at Shelby High’s Veterans Field at Keeter Stadium, including an opening day game at 7:30 p.m. between Shrewsburg, Mass., and Randolph County.

All of the games are viewable online at ESPN3 and on TV at ESPNU.
