AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL: Hickory at 3-4, will play next home game on Thursday night

NEWTON – Hickory Post 48 is 3-4 as it heads to another Area IV American Legion baseball game on Wednesday and then plays a home game on Thursday night at the Legion Fairgrounds.

Post 48 dipped below .500 with a 3-1 loss against Rutherford County and next plays at Asheville on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. before facing Burnsville on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Henkel-Alley Field.
