ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s men and women qualified for the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) basketball tournaments, and both will open on the road on Wednesday.
The Bears are seeded No. 7 and begin tournament play with a 7 p.m. game at No. 2 Queens, while the LRU women go the eighth and final seed and will play at top-seeded Carson-Newman with a 7 p.m. start.
The tournament shifts to Timmons Arena in Greenville, S.C., next Saturday for semifinals and the tournament title games are Sunday, March 4.
