Deal is a left-hander who played at Bandys High and Presbyterian College.

Last appearance: On Wednesday as starter in 5-1 home loss against St. Lucie (Fla.).

He pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing 10 hits, three runs (all earned), walked one and struck out six in his first second-half of the season start.

Deal threw 58 of his 85 pitches for strikes and faced 25 batters but fell to 3-5 with the loss.

Current stats: 3-5, 2.11 ERA, 13 starts, 72 2/3 innings pitched, one hit batter, 17 walks, 63 strikeouts.

Jarrett is a former star at Hickory High and at Charlotte who is back with the Keys after playing about a month at Class AA Bowie (Md.).

Sunday: Batted third and started in right field, going 1-for-4 in 5-0 loss at Wilmington (N.C.).

Saturday: Batted third and started in right field, going 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 5-3 victory at Wilmington (N.C.).

Friday: Batted second and started in right field, going 0-for-4 and striking out three times in a 7-0 loss at Wilmington (N.C.).

Thursday: Batted second and started in right field, going 1-for-4 in a 3-2 loss at Wilmington (N.C.).

Current stats: .266, five home runs, 24 RBIs.

Last 10 games: .306, one home runs, six RBIs.

(Class AA Bowie, Md., Baysox)

Harvey was a first round pick by Baltimore in 2013 after a standout career at Bandys High.

Last appearance: On Wednesday in relief as Bowie won 5-1 at Hartford (Conn.).

Harvey was the second pitcher for the Baysox, going three innings. He gave up one hit, no runs, walked one and struck out one.

He threw strikes on 24 of his 32 pitches and faced nine batters before a crowd of 5,480.

It was his second appearance since being moved out of the starting rotation and into the Baysox bullpen.

Current stats: 2-5, 5.46 ERA, 13 appearances with 11 starts, 56 innings pitched, six hit batters, 21 walks, 56 strikeouts.
