A crowd of 389 saw the Intimidators score twice in the bottom of the 10th inning to win after Delmarva scored in the top of the 10th inning for an 8-7 lead.

HARVEY

HUNTER HARVEY (Class AA Bowie, Md.)

Bowie’s game at Richmond (Va.) on Wednesday night was postponed by rain and reset as part of a doubleheader on June 23.

Harvey — a former Bandys High star who was called up to the Orioles for two games earlier in the season — is listed as Bowie’s probable starter on Friday night (7:05 p.m.) in a home game against Trenton (N.J.)

If the rain out were to impact the schedule and delay Harvey pitching by one night, the Baysox face Trenton on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m.

Harvey made his eighth start of the season last Saturday at Binghamton (N.Y.), a game the Baysox lost 3-1 well after Harvey hit the showers.

A crowd of 4,794 saw Harvey throw five innings, give up five hits, one run (earned), walk one and strike out seven. He faced 20 batters, threw strikes on 59 of his 85 pitches and did not pick up a decision as Bowie fell to 22-25.

Harvey is 1-1 this season with 30 1/3 innings pitched. He’s allowed 31 hits, 14 runs (all earned), walked eight and struck out 30. His ERA is 4.15.

DEAL

HAYDEN DEAL (Class A Rome, Ga.)

Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal is a left-handed relief pitcher for the Braves (31-21), who defeated visiting Asheville 9-1 on Wednesday night before 1,175.

Deal did not pitch on Wednesday night.

He last pitched on Saturday night in a 3-0 loss at Augusta, throwing the sixth, seventh and eighth innings and allowing three hits, two runs (one earned), one walk and striking out four.

Deal faced 14 batters, throwing strikes on 34 of his 55 pitches in his 10th appearance of the season, and his ERA is 2.11.

His season totals are a 3-0 record, 21 1/3 innings pitched, 16 hits allowed, six runs allowed (five earned), two hit batters, one intentional walk, five walks and 32 strikeouts.

In his last four outings, Deal has pitched 10 innings, allowed six hits, walked three and struck out 14 with an ERA of 2.70.
