BASEBALL DRAFT: St. Louis Cardinals select Bears’ St. Clair in 24th round

ST. CLAIR

SECAUCUS, N.J. – Lenoir-Rhyne University pitcher Thomas St. Clair has been picked by the St. Louis Cardinals in the Major League Baseball Draft.

The Cardinals took St. Clair in the 24th round and with the No. 724 selection in a three-day draft that is still ongoing as of 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the Bears’ John Curtis – a product of Hibriten High’s baseball program – was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the eighth round.
