MAIDEN – A four-goal match for Elena Propst carried Maiden High’s girls to a 5-0 home soccer victory on Thursday night in a Southern District 7 Athletic 2A match.
Shelby Pettit added a goal and an assist and Abbey Setzer had an assist as the Blue Devils improved to 6-4-0 in the conference. They are in fourth place, three games back of third-place Newton-Conover in the league standings.
West Lincoln is 2-7-0 in league matches.
Jaime Johnson scored twice and Jadyn Sadlowski added a goal as Maiden’s junior varsity girls blanked the Rebels 3-0.
