CLAREMONT – Bunker Hill High beat Lincolnton for the second time this season on Tuesday night in Southern District 7 Athletic 2A baseball, winning 13-3 at home.
The Bears had beaten the Wolves 10-3 in Lincolnton earlier in the season.
Bunker Hill improved to 11-6 by winning and to 6-5 in the conference and now shares third place with Maiden, a 4-0 winner on Tuesday night at Bandys.
Lincolnton dipped to 6-8 overall and 5-6 in the conference, falling into a tie for fifth place with West Lincoln.
Bunker Hill meets Bandys on the road in an SD-7 2A game on Thursday at 7 p.m., while Lincolnton has a 7 p.m. game that night at home against Newton-Conover.
