STATESVILLE – North Iredell High moved with a game of .500 on Tuesday night by beating host West Iredell 14-1 in five innings in North Piedmont 3A-4A baseball.
The Red Raiders (7-8, 4-6) won back-to-back games for the first time since opening the season with wins over Starmount and North Wilkes.
West Iredell dropped to 3-14 overall and is in last place in the conference at 0-11. TheWarriors have lost nine straight games, eight in the league, and scored just 12 runs in those losses.
North Iredell has a home league game on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Lake Norman, while West Iredell will be on the road that night for a 7 p.m. start at Statesville.
