NEWTON – Fred T. Foard High has announced it is moving the start time for Friday’s second round state 3A playoff game against West Iredell to 5 p.m.
The start time is now an hour earlier than originally planned due to the weather forecast for later today.
Foard (15-7) is a No 8 seed and West Iredell (13-8) is a No. 9 seed.
The game winner will advance to the third round (the game must be played by Tuesday) against No. 13 Sun Valley (16-6) or No. 3 Enka (19-2).
