“Aaron Teague has been the greatest hitter that I have ever had the privilege of coaching,” St. Stephens head baseball coach Adam Windham said in a press release from the school. “From the first day Aaron came to practice you could tell he was going to be great. “Aaron was able to accomplish many feats during his prep career because of his drive, focus, and work ethic.

“As a program we want to congratulate Aaron on this great accomplishment, and thank him for all he put into this program.”

Teague helped St. Stephens go 5-9 in the Northwestern 3A-4A this season and tie Watauga for fifth place. The Indians finished 9-14 overall in a season highlighted by reaching the Catawba Valley Easter Baseball Classic title game (Hickory 2, St. Stephens 1 on April 19).
