HICKORY — Lenoir-Rhyne University is the top seed for the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) men’s soccer tournament after tying Queens for the regular season championship.
The tournament begins on Tuesday at the higher seeds and with No. 8 Coker playing at LRU at 7:30 p.m.
The Bears and Royals share the league title with LRU grabbing the No. 1 seed via a 3-2 regular-season win over Queens.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled Friday and Sunday, respectively, at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
