HICKORY – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s women open the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) soccer tournament on Tuesday night with a home match.
The Bears are the No. 3 seed and battle No. 6 Tusculum in Hickory on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the first round.
The semifinals and finals of the tournament shift to Manchaster Meadows on Friday and Sunday.
Carson-Newman is the No. 1 seed after winning a regular-season title and Lincoln Memorial is the No. 2 seed, securing a tie-breaker with LRU via an 2-1 win over the Bears in mid-October.
