COLLEGE X-COUNTRY: Lenoir-Rhyne’s Black fourth at Queen City Invitational

CHARLOTTE – Senior Jacob Black finished fourth on Friday at the Queen City Invitational, leading Lenoir-Rhyne University to a third-place finish.

In all 11-team event at McAlpine Creek Park, Black completed an 8K course in 24 minutes, 33 seconds.

Mount Olive was the team champion and Ramsey Ritchie of Davidson won the individual race in 24:10.

LRU is play host for the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) men’s cross country championship meet next Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Southside Park in Newton.
