CHARLOTTE – The South Atlantic Conference basketball doubleheader scheduled Wednesday between Lenoir-Rhyne University and Queens at the Levine Center has been postponed by snow.
The games will be played on Thursday with the women’s game starting at 4 p.m. and the men’s game at 6 p.m., a press release from LRU’s sports information office said.
LRU’s women (8-9, 2-7) have lost five straight games and are in ninth place in the league standings, followed by Queens (4-11, 1-8).
The Queens men (16-1, 8-1) are in second place, a game back of Lincoln Memorial, and the Bears (7-8, 5-4) share third place with Wingate and Coker.
