ABERDEEN, Md. – Former Bandys High star Hunter Harvey took another step back from injury on Wednesday night, making his first start for the Aberdeen (Md.) Ironbirds.

After a slow start, he was more Harvey-like in the second inning before exiting.

“I was a little fired up early,” Harvey told the Capital Gazette in Maryland. “I just tried to get everything under control and my body felt great, arm felt great.”

Harvey, a right-hander taken with the 22nd pick of the 2013 draft by the Baltimore Orioles, is working his way back from having Tommy John surgery.
