Editor’s note: HobbsDailyReport.com posts all complete box scores provided by varsity basketball teams in the South Fork 2A, Northwestern Foothills 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A and has e-mailed requests for reports to the 23 athletic departments of the schools in those leagues.

Notes: The Indians hit 18 of 30 from 3-point range with McPherson going eight of 12 and Woy going 5 of 8 … There were only 11 free throws in the game (Cougars 3-8, Indians 2-3) … St. Stephens shot 56.4 percent to Alexander Central’s 47.4… The Cougars won the boards by one with Herman leading with five while Josh Barkley had 11 for the Indians… Dayton Anderson had a game-high six assists for St. Stephens, which had 20, and Woy added five… Herman was 8 of 10 from the floor for Alexander Central… McPherson went 10 of 16 on the floor and Woy was five of nine… The Cougars were 3-0 against the Indians last season … St. Stephens was 5-20 a year ago and lost its last five games and was 1-13 in its last 14.
