HIBRITEN BASKETBALL CAMP: Instructors include 2 with NBA experience

Keith (Mister) Jennings, who played in the NBA after a sterling career at East Tennessee State, will be at Hibriten High in June as an instructor in the Panthers’ annual basketball camp.

LENOIR – Hibriten High’s basketball camp, scheduled June 17-20 at the school, will feature two instructors who reached the NBA.

Hibriten head coach Chad Keller will provide instruction at the camp along with former Hibriten players and former NBA guard Keith “Mister” Jennings (Golden State, Denver) and Dave Hanners, currently an assistant coach with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The camp is open for girls and boys ages six to 13 and will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.

The cost to pre-register is $60 and registration at the door is $70.

The camp includes skill sessions, drills and competitions, plus t-shirts, awards and guest speakers and will have an overall focus on team building.
