GREENSBORO – Freedom High will have two players, one in each game, as the East-West All-Star basketball games are played Monday night at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The Patriots’ Madison Bailey was one of six additions on a 10-player West roster for a 6:30 p.m. start on Monday, and she is the only female from the Greater Hickory area’s three conferences in the senior-only game.
Shane Slate of North Surry will guide the West girls as head coach, assisted by Brooke Strouder of Carson.
In the boys’ game, Freedom’s Fletcher Abee and East Lincoln’s Sidney Dollar will play for the West in an 8:30 p.m. tipoff.
