HICKORY – Hickory’s home game against Kannapolis on Monday was rained out so the Crawdads will have a doubleheader beginning on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The Crawdads are 9-16 at home this season and 19-31 overall, sitting 11 games back of South Atlantic League (SAL) Northern Division leader Hagerstown (Md.). The Suns are a half-game up on Lakewood, N.J.
Kannapolis, 15-8 on the road this season, is 26-22 overall and share third place with Greensboro in the Northern Division.
The third and final game of the series at L.P. Frans Stadium is at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
