JV BASEBALL: Top-seeded Cougars win Bunker Hill tournament title

HobbsDailyReport.com CLAREMONT – The top seed won the Bunker Hill High Junior Varsity baseball tournament. Alexander Central defeated second-seeded Fred T. Foard 9-3 to capture the title. Fifth-seeded St. Stephens downed No. 3 Bunker Hill 10-2 to end up third in the tournament, and fifth-place went to No. 4 Newton-Conover via a 1-0 forfeit victory over sixth-seeded Hickory.
