COLLEGE BASEBALL: Red Hawks finish record-setting season at 42-16

Catcher Brett Machia went 4-for-4 and drove in three runs in Catawba Valley Community College’s final baseball win of the season on Monday in Burlington. After defeating Pitt Community College 10-1, the Red Hawks were eliminated from the Region X tournament in a 12-4 loss to Patrick Henry Community College.
