Tryouts for the Hickory Post 48 American Legion Lady Fastpitch junior softball team are scheduled April 27-28 at Bandys High.
The tryout on April 27 is at 1 p.m., and the tryout on April 28 is at 2 p.m.
Players are asked to arrive early to one of the tryouts so that paperwork can be completed. It is not necessary to attend both tryouts.
The junior team is for rising seventh through 10th-graders in the Catawba County area.
