PrepBaseballReport (PBR) has organized events scheduled Sunday and Monday for those playing Area IV American Legion baseball this season — East and West — and registration remains open.
Prep Baseball Report visits East Gaston High on Sunday and the Newton Legion Fairgrounds on Monday, providing Area IV players an opportunity to develop or update their profiles.
Players who would like to update their PBR profile and statistics are encouraged to register online (see link below) in advance of the event(s). Attendance fees vary based on workouts, etc., a player chooses to participate in.
The session for Area IV East players is set for Sunday at East Gaston High with check-in at 1:30 p.m.
Area IV West players get their opportunity on Monday – check-in at 4 p.m. — at Henkel-Alley Field at the Legion Fairgrounds in Newton.
Players also have the option to upgrade and receive an evaluation and video for their PBR profile during their sessions.
Having a complete PBR profile enables a player to connect with more than 900 college coaches and scouts that subscribe to the service.
