Collin Lett of Greensboro signed with the Charlotte Hounds while Ben Corrigan of Alpharetta (Ga.) signed with the Atlanta Blaze. Both have graduated from LRU.

“I am extremely proud of both Collin and Ben being signed into the MLL,” LRU head coach Greg Paradine said in a press release on Thursday from LRU athletic department. “The Hounds and the Blaze are getting two of the best that have ever put on an LR uniform.

“I know they will give everything they have to be successful at the next level.”

goals, 12 assists, 25 points and 192 groundballs for LRU and was an All-America selection each of the past two seasons.

“I am really looking forward to this next step in my lacrosse career,” Lett said in a press release from LRU’s athletic department on Thursday. “I can’t thank my coaches, teammates, and the LR community enough for helping me get this far.”

Corrigan will return to his home state to continue his lacrosse career. He led the Bears in assists with 36 and finished second on the team in goals scored (45) and total points (81) this season.

Selected All-SAC three times during his career, Corrigan had six goals and eight assists this season in the Bears’ two NCAA Division playoff matches.

“Growing up right outside of Atlanta, it’s pretty surreal to have this opportunity with the hometown team,” Corrigan said in the press release. “I’m extremely excited to get started and am honored to represent LR in the process.”
