SHELBY – North Carolina champion Randolph County’s next game in the American Legion World Series is Monday at 1 p.m. against Idaho.
Randolph County, in the World Series for the third straight year, won its opening game last Thursday, beating Massachusetts 8-4, and fell 4-1 to North Dakota on Saturday.
Rain interrupted a late game on Sunday and there are four games scheduled on Monday.
All tournament games will be played at Shelby High’s Veterans Field at Keeter Stadium.
All of the games are viewable online at ESPN3 and on TV at ESPNU.
