BELMONT – Jackson Mammano’s 29-yard field goal, the only score on Monday night, lifted Stuart Cramer High past visiting Lincolnton 10-7 in the completion of a varsity football game that began on Friday night.

The kick spoiled the debut of Joe Glass as the new head football coach at Lincolnton.

The game was halted on Friday night by lightning, tied 7-all with two minutes, four seconds left in the third quarter, and resumed at that point on Monday night.

Quarterback E.J. Manjarres, who scored for the Wolves on Friday night via rushing, ended up going 9-of-19 for 101 yards with two interceptions. He threw three times to Dejavis Gash for 56 yards.

Linebacker Malauley Mcgrisken led the Wolves defensively with 12 tackles while sophomore tackle Brenard Wingate had nine tackles and middle linebacker Keytric Patterson had seven tackles.

Lincolnton is at home on Friday night at 7:30 p.m., playing South Point.
