JARRETT
Zach Jarrett returned to the lineup for Norfolk (Va.) on Saturday night, batting ninth in the order, and delivered two hits and two RBIs in a 5-3 home win over Durham.
Jarrett started in centerfield and went 2-for-2 with a walk as he improved his batting average to .250. He has seven home runs and 26 RBIs this season.
The Tides are off on Monday before beginning a six-game Triple-A series at Jacksonville (Fla.).
Norfolk is 30-45 and in sixth place in the Triple-A East Southeast Division, 20 games back of Durham.

Jarrett has been in Triple-A since a promotion from Double-A Bowie (Md.) on May 19, and he has twice been assigned to the Baltimore Orioles during his career (March 2019 and February 2020).
He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 and taken in the 28th round.
The Tides will return to Charlotte for a six-game series from Aug. 17-22.
