Norfolk starts 6-game series at Charlotte on Tuesday night

Zach Jarrett’s fans will get an opportunity to see him play close to home this week.
Jarrett, playing for the Triple-A Norfolk (Va.) Tides, will be in Charlotte on Tuesday through Sunday for a six-game series with the Knights.
Games time on Tuesday through Saturday are 7:04 p.m., and Sunday’s series finale begins at 6:05 p.m.

Jarrett prepped for that with a start on Sunday at home against Gwinnett (Ga.), a 4-2 victory that improved Norfolk to 20-25.
Jarrett batted third in the Tides lineup, going 1-for-3 and driving in a run.
His batting average rose to .285 and he has four home runs and 14 RBIs this season.
A career .267 hitter, Sunday’s game was Jarrett’s 333rd as a pro.
Jarrett was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 after starring in college at Charlotte. The O’s picked him in the 28th round.
