Zach Jarrett, batting ninth in the order for the Norfolk (Va.) Tides on Friday night, delivered a 3-for-4 night in an 8-0 victory at Jacksonville (Fla.).
Jarrett batted No.. 8 on Thursday against Jacksonville in a 6-4 loss that dropped his batting average to .284.
He’s back over .300 at .303 with two home runs and 13 RBIs.
Norfolk won before a crowd of 6,423 and the series continues through the weekend in Jacksonville with 6:35 p.m. starts on Saturday and Sunday.
Jarrett and the Tides will play a six-game series in Charlotte, beginning on June 29 and continuing through July 4.
