NEWTON – St. Stephens senior wide receiver Zach Lee is the Oldies 101.3 FM WNNC Coca-Cola Golden Helmet Award winner for the second week of the high school football season.

Lee’s selection was announced Tuesday morning by the radio station.

He sparked the Indians’ first win of the season on Friday night – 21-13 at Bunker Hill – by making six catches for 146 yards and scoring two touchdowns and added two tackles and one assist defensively.

High school coaches in Catawba County nominate players for the Golden Helmet Award each week.
