HICKORY – St. Stephens High’s Indian Baseball Camp is scheduled July 8-11 at the school with Indians head coach Adam Windham leading a staff of instructors.
The camp is open rising second through 11th-graders from 9 a.m. to noon over four days at a cost of $50.
Campers can arrive at 8:30 a.m. each day at the baseball field complex on campus.
Equipment needed will be: athletic shoes, cleats, baseball pants, a t-shirt, hat, baseball needs (glove, bat, catcher’s equipment and a water bottle (coolers for refills will be available).
The camp will focus on proper fundamentals, hitting, fielding, throwing and individual play by positions.
In addition to Windham, instructors will include St. Stephens pitching coach Adam Severt, catching coach Eric Isenhour and infield coach Dillon Spencer plus other former and current St. Stephens players.
Parents of campers must sign a release form.
