There’s a tie atop the HobbsDailyReport.com Pick’em standings after one week of varsity football.
The website’s co-owner and video and graphic coordinator, Myra Hobbs, debuted by going 11-4 and she shares the lead with her husband, Chris, who is the editor and content coordinator.
Myra is picking winners for the first time… and her hubby is picking them for the 44th year.
So much for “knowing” football… as Myra came through with sparkling ease as she mulled over many different things to determine her picks, she said, including which school has the pretty uniforms.
Co-owner and correspondent Will Hancock came out of the gate at 10-5 and trails by a game.
