Harvey was a first round pick by Baltimore in 2013 after a standout career at Bandys High.

Last appearance: Saturday at Charlotte Knights, one inning pitched with one hit allowed, walked three and struck out one in a 7-6 loss. He was the third pitcher used by the Tides, throwing strikes on 15 of his 33 pitches and facing seven batters.

Current stats: 2-5, 4.94 ERA, 16 appearances with 11 starts, 62 innings pitched, six hit batters, 24 walks, 63 strikeouts.

HAYDEN DEAL

(Class A Advanced Florida Fire Frogs)

Deal is a left-hander who played at Bandys High and Presbyterian College.

Last appearance: Last Monday as starter in 5-0 loss at Dunedin (Fla.) before 92 fans in 88-degree weather.

He pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up eight hits, five runs (all earned) with two walks and three strikeouts.

Deal threw strikes on 62 of his 102 pitches and faced 25 batters.

Current stats: 3-7, 2.81 ERA, 15 starts, 83 1/3 innings pitched, two hit batters, 22 walks, 67 strikeouts.

Next scheduled start: Monday at Florida against Port Charlotte (Fla.), 6:30 p.m. — he was listed to start Saturday at Bradenton (Fla.) but a rain out on Friday changed that. He was scheduled to start on Sunday against Bradenton but the game was rained out.

ZACH JARRETT

(Class A Advanced Fredrick, Va.)

Jarrett is a former star at Hickory High and at Charlotte who is back with the Keys after playing about a month at Class AA Bowie (Md.).

Sunday: Batted second and started in right field in a 9-7 loss at Winston-Salem. He went 3-for-5 with a triple, scored twice and drove in a run.

Saturday: Batted second and started in right field in an 8-3 loss at Carolina. He went 2-for-4, scored twice and drove in a run with a solo home run in the eighth inning.

Friday: Batted second and started in right field, going 0-for-3 in first game of a doubleheader at Carolina (lost 2-0); pinch runner in a 6-5 loss in the second game.

Current stats: .280, six home runs, 27 RBIs.

Last 10 games: .324, one home run, two RBIs; 5-for-9 in last two games.
