Harvey was a first round pick by Baltimore in 2013 after a standout career at Bandys High.

Last appearance: Wednesday in a 5-4 home loss against Rochester. Second pitcher used by the Tides, throwing 1 1/2 innings, gave up no hits, on runs, walked none and struck out none. Threw strikes on eight of 13 pitches and faced four batters.

Last 10 games: 0-3, 5.40 ERA, 28 1/2 innings pitched, 15 walks, 25 strikeouts.

Current stats: 2-6, 5.43 ERA, 18 appearances with 11 starts, 64 2/3 innings pitched, six hit batters, 25 walks, 65 strikeouts.

(Class A Advanced Florida Fire Frogs)

Deal is a left-hander who played at Bandys High and Presbyterian College.

Last appearance: Last Sunday in a 4-0 win at Clearwater (Fla.), when he did not get a decision. Pitched five innings, allowing two hits, no runs, walking one and striking out four. Threw strikes on 40 of his 58 pitches and faced 17 batters.

Last 10 games: 1-6, 4.06 ERA, 51 innings pitched, 23 earned runs, 13 walks, 38 strikeouts.

Current stats: 3-8, 2.82 ERA, 17 starts, 92 2/3 innings pitched, two hit batters, 24 walks, 76 strikeouts.

Next scheduled start: Saturday, Fort Myers (Fla.) at Florida.

JARRETT

ZACH JARRETT

(Class A Advanced Fredrick, Va.)

Jarrett is a former star at Hickory High and at Charlotte who returned to the Keys in late May after playing about a month at Class AA Bowie (Md.).

Friday: Started in right field and batted second in a 4-2 loss at Potomac (Va.), going 0-for-4 with one RBI.

Thursday: Started in right field and batted second in both games of a doubleheader, going 1-for-2 with a walk in an 8-3 victory over Potomac (Va.) in the opener and 0-for-3 in a 4-1 loss in the second game.

Wednesday: Game at Potomac (Va.) rained out, reset as part of a Thursday doubleheader.

Tuesday: No game.

Monday: Started in right field and batted second in 12-7 home loss against Salem (Va.), going 3-for-5, scoring two runs and driving in a run

Sunday: Started in right field and batted second in 6-0 home win over Salem (Va.), going 2-for-4 with a home run and driving in three runs.

Last 10 games: .359, two home runs, seven RBIs.

Current stats: .286, 13 doubles, eight home runs, 34 RBIs.
