Zach Jarrett went hitless in four at-bats on Sunday, striking out twice and leaving four men on base, in a 4-1 home win by Norfolk (Va.) over Charlotte.

Jarrett batted fifth and started in centerfield for the Tides, who drew a crowd of 3,229.

The Tides and Knights were rained out on Saturday night and that game was rescheduled for Sept. 1.

Jarrett is hitting. 300 as Norfolk prepares for a six-game series that begins on Tuesday night in Durham.

Former Bandys High pitching ace Hunter Harvey is also on the Norfolk roster. He did not appear Sunday, and he is on a rehab assignment for the Baltimore Orioles.

Games times in Durham are 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday’s game is at 5:05 p.m.
