Mill Creek Middle School’s girls’ softball team had a perfect season, going 14-0 to win the Catawba Valley Middle School Athletic Conference championship. The team scored 144 runs and gave up only 13 and was coached by Chelsey Morgan, Leslie McIntosh and David Fox./SUBMITTED PHOTO

These girls should be on your “ones to watch “list. Many of them, are also part of the last two years basketball program at Mill Creek that has won 30 of their last 33 games. There is no doubt, they have a special spark to them!
