KINGS MOUNTAIN – Ayden Vaughn scored three times and Jovanna Sanchez had three assists as Hickory High’s girls topped Kings Mountain 4-2 on Friday on the road in a makeup soccer match.
Sanchez had the other goal for the Red Tornadoes (18-3, 12-2, Northwestern 3A-4A champions) and Sarah Harding provided an assist.
Morgan Malikowski made 12 saves for Hickory.
