COLLEGE MEN’S TENNIS: Lenoir-Rhyne’s No. 1 singles player make second-team

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s top singles player, Hamed Gandouz, was selected second-team All-South Atlantic Conference in men’s tennis on Wednesday.

Gandouz, a sophomore from Hammam Sousse (Tunisia), went 11-4 this season for the Bears and 6-3 in the SAC, all at No. 1 singles.

LRU junior Tomas Hons, from Valaske Mezirici (Czech Republic), earned honorable mention after going 12-6 overall with four conference singles wins.

The Bears went 11-10 this season and they were 4-7 in the SAC under first-year head coach Tom Rees.
