Nice story from The Gaston Gazette on former Bandys High guard Brad Gabriel and coaching his son, Jackson, at Lincoln Charter.

Jackson Gabriel has set the record for most 3-pointers in a career in N.C. basketball history.

The Eagles are 21-6 as they start the state 1A playoffs at home on Tuesday night against Cherokee, and they are 104-19 with the Gabriels working together.

Brad Gabriel coached the Bandys boys for six seasons beginning in 1997-98 and is in his sixth season at Lincoln Charter, where his teams have won four conference and league tournament titles, made three Final Four 1A appearances and won the 2017 state title in 1A.
