HICKORY – The Lenoir-Rhyne University women return to action on Saturday with a home conference basketball game against Tusculum.
The Bears (7-5) face the Pioneers at 2 p.m. at Shuford Gym in a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) game.
LRU fell 77-73 in its most recent game, falling to Limestone in Hickory last Saturday.
The Bears had four double-figure scorers against Limestone, led by Madi Suddreth with 16 points. Hanna McClung added 14, Madeline Hardy scored 13 and Kennedy Weigt added 11.
Limestone shot 53.7 percent and limited the Bears to 38.2 percent.
Weigt’s scoring was a season-high while Hardy reached double figures in three straight games.
