ROCK HILL, S.C. – Going 3-0 and helping Lenoir-Rhyne University win six softball games gained junior pitcher Emily Kenley the weekly South Atlantic Conference (SAC) award as the league’s Pitcher of The Week.
Conference officials released the weekly awards on Tuesday.
Kenley, from Charlotte, was 3-0 with an ERA of 1.22 with 13 strikeouts as the Bears won six games over a seven-day period.
She went the distance in three games and was 5-1 through Tuesday with an ERA of 1.40 and 30 strikeouts.
