ROCK HILL, S.C. – It’s a hat trick for Lenoir-Rhyne University men’s lacrosse star Joe Buduo, as he was named the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for the third time this Season.

Buduo, a junior attacker from Shrewsbury, Mass., had 12 points – eight goals and four assists – to lead the Bears to league wins on the road over Catawba and Mars Hill last Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.

Buduo’s six goals against the Indians helped him become LRU’s all-time single-season leader in goals scored and total points.  He currently leads the conference in goals (54) and is ranked second in the league in points (76).

LRU (14-1, 7-0), ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II, has clinched at least a share of its third straight SAC regu.ar-season title.

The Bears face league foe Coker next, with a 2 p.m. start on Saturday at Moretz Stadium for Senior Day.
