Lenoir-Rhyne University introduced Mike Jacobs as its 23rd head football coach this week. He replaces Drew Cronic, who left to become head coach at Mercer, and is coming to the Bears from Notre Dame College in Ohio. Jacobs’ four teams at Notre Dame went 42-8 and reached the NCAA semifinals in 2018 and the quarterfinals last season.
