MEN’S COLLEGE X-C: League coaches pick Bears to finish in fifth place

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University is projected to finish fifth in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) men’s cross country this season.

League head coaches picked defending SAC champion Queens to win again after the Royals finished sixth in NCAA Division II last season.

The poll was released on Wednesday by the SAC.

Wingate, Anderson (S.C.) and Lincoln Memorial were picked to finish second through fourth and LRU was picked to finish fifth.

The SAC season begins on Aug. 31.
