CHARLOTTE – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s men battled Queens to a scoreless tie in double overtime in South Atlantic Conference (SAC) soccer on Saturday in Charlotte.
Queens (4-3-3, 1-2-2) outshot the Bears 13-6, dropping them to 4-2-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference.
Zach King had three saves for LRU while Sergio Lemus made two for Queens.
The Bears’ next match is Wednesday at 5 p.m. at home against league rival Mars Hill.
