HICKORY – The Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational in cross country, originally scheduled for Friday in Newton, has been moved up by one day because of weather concerns.
The meet will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
LRU athletic officials also announced a volleyball match scheduled Saturday against Coker will not be played.
The Bears will face Coker in Hickory on Oct. 11 and travel to Coker for an Oct. 23 match.
The LRU at Wingate volleyball match scheduled on Friday is still on.
