HUNTERSVILLE — Lake Norman Charter High announced Monday it has added an 11th game to its varsity football schedule.
The Knights were originally scheduled to have an open date on Sept. 6, but they will now be at home for a 7 p.m. non-conference game against Union Academy.
Lake Norman Charter plays its season-opening game on Monday at 6 p.m. against Southlake Christian. That game was rained out on Friday night.
Bob McVay, who previously coached the Knights, starts his second tenure as their head coach on Monday night.
The Knights play in the South Fork 2A and their first league game is on the road at East Lincoln on Sept. 27
