The third of seven pitchers used by Baltimore on Monday night, Hunter Harvey gained his second hold of the season in a 9-7 victory by the visiting Orioles over Houston.

Harvey pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing one hit, two runs (both earned) and walked one.

He did not pitch on Tuesday night.

Baltimore closes the series in Houston on Wednesday night and has a three-games series at the L.A. Angels on Friday through Sunday.

It will be a return to Angels Stadium for Harvey, who often went to the stadium with his dad when he was a boy. Bryan Harvey was a star reliever for the then-California Angels.

Hunter Harvey’s record is 0-0 with an ERA of 4.15 in nine games. He has pitched 8 2/3 innings and struck out six.

Monday’s game drew a crowd of 24,419 and took four hours and 19 minutes to complete.

Harvey threw strikes on 10 of his 15 pitches and faced four batters.
